| 7.5 | CVE-2021-3859 A flaw was found in Undertow that tripped the client-side invocation timeout with certain calls made over HTTP2. This flaw allows an attacker to carry out denial of service attacks. Published Friday, August 26, 2022 |
| 6.1 | CVE-2022-36033 jsoup is a Java HTML parser, built for HTML editing, cleaning, scraping, and cross-site scripting (XSS) safety. jsoup may incorrectly sanitize HTML including `javascript:` URL expressions, which could allow XSS attacks when a reader subsequently clicks that link. If the non-default `SafeList.preserveRelativeLinks` option is enabled, HTML including `javascript:` URLs that have been crafted with control characters will not be sanitized. If the site that this HTML is published on does not set a Content Security Policy, an XSS attack is then possible. This issue is patched in jsoup 1.15.3. Users should upgrade to this version. Additionally, as the unsanitized input may have been persisted, old content should be cleaned again using the updated version. To remediate this issue without immediately upgrading: - disable `SafeList.preserveRelativeLinks`, which will rewrite input URLs as absolute URLs - ensure an appropriate [Content Security Policy](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/CSP) is defined. (This should be used regardless of upgrading, as a defence-in-depth best practice.) Published Monday, August 29, 2022 |
| N/A | CVE-2022-37021 Apache Geode versions up to 1.12.5, 1.13.4 and 1.14.0 are vulnerable to a deserialization of untrusted data flaw when using JMX over RMI on Java 8. Any user still on Java 8 who wishes to protect against deserialization attacks involving JMX or RMI should upgrade to Apache Geode 1.15 and Java 11. If upgrading to Java 11 is not possible, then upgrade to Apache Geode 1.15 and specify "--J=-Dgeode.enableGlobalSerialFilter=true" when starting any Locators or Servers. Follow the documentation for details on specifying any user classes that may be serialized/deserialized with the "serializable-object-filter" configuration option. Using a global serial filter will impact performance. Published Wednesday, August 31, 2022 |
| N/A | CVE-2022-37022 Apache Geode versions up to 1.12.2 and 1.13.2 are vulnerable to a deserialization of untrusted data flaw when using JMX over RMI on Java 11. Any user wishing to protect against deserialization attacks involving JMX or RMI should upgrade to Apache Geode 1.15. Use of 1.15 on Java 11 will automatically protect JMX over RMI against deserialization attacks. This should have no impact on performance since it only affects JMX/RMI which Gfsh uses to communicate with the JMX Manager which is hosted on a Locator. Published Wednesday, August 31, 2022 |
| N/A | CVE-2022-37023 Apache Geode versions prior to 1.15.0 are vulnerable to a deserialization of untrusted data flaw when using REST API on Java 8 or Java 11. Any user wishing to protect against deserialization attacks involving REST APIs should upgrade to Apache Geode 1.15 and follow the documentation for details on enabling "validate-serializable-objects=true" and specifying any user classes that may be serialized/deserialized with "serializable-object-filter". Enabling "validate-serializable-objects" may impact performance. Published Wednesday, August 31, 2022 |
| N/A | CVE-2022-1259 A flaw was found in Undertow. A potential security issue in flow control handling by the browser over HTTP/2 may cause overhead or a denial of service in the server. This flaw exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2021-3629. Published Wednesday, August 31, 2022 |
| N/A | CVE-2022-1319 A flaw was found in Undertow. For an AJP 400 response, EAP 7 is improperly sending two response packets, and those packets have the reuse flag set even though JBoss EAP closes the connection. A failure occurs when the connection is reused after a 400 by CPING since it reads in the second SEND_HEADERS response packet instead of a CPONG. Published Wednesday, August 31, 2022 |
| N/A | CVE-2022-2764 A flaw was found in Undertow. Denial of service can be achieved as Undertow server waits for the LAST_CHUNK forever for EJB invocations. Published Thursday, September 1, 2022 |
| N/A | CVE-2022-36593 kkFileView v4.0.0 was discovered to contain an arbitrary file deletion vulnerability via the fileName parameter at /controller/FileController.java. Published Friday, September 2, 2022 |
